Google Managers Convicted in Italian Court
Here is the quick run down… Milan Judge Oscar Magi ruled this morning that two Google managers and a former chief financial officer were guilty of privacy violations.
A Pirates Ransom for The Pirate Bay
It appears that The Pirate Bay has been purchased for $7.8 million by Swedish firm Global Gaming Factory X. They have stated they are going to work on a compensation plan for copyright owners and content operators.
Opera Unite fears
Unite ships with the newest version of Opera (v10) and is effectively a webserver built into the browser. That means you can share virtually anything on your computer just as you would if you placed the items out on the Internet for others do view, but you don’t have to go through the effort of posting anything onto the web.

when do you become a criminal, and when are you simply social networking? If I download music from an anonymous person via bittorrent I am committing a crime. If I download a song being shared by a fellow Opera Unite user I am social networking
