Google’s next moves?

I have been following Google’s plans for a while now and trying to see where they are planning to go from here. I predict a VoIP setting in a future version of Android that will come configured to automatically connect to a Google service. I also foresee Google becoming their own ISP shortly as well.

Android is not Google

It seems that people are frequently forgetting this fact. Android is an Open Source OS that has had strong Google influence, and has Google Products (Maps, Gmail, and so forth) that are not Open Source and THEY belong to Google.

Eric Schmidt said that 2009 would be an Android year but coming into September with only one new phone available (and it still being on the only carrier with an Android phone) may have caused people to question Eric’s prediction.
